Washington D.C. Lease Termination Letter

A District of Columbia lease termination letter is mainly used by tenants, who can end a month-to-month tenancy with 30 days’ written notice. D.C. landlords can end a tenancy only for a reason listed in the Rental Housing Act, so a lease running out or a landlord’s wish to end a month-to-month rental is not enough on its own.
